Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, abbreviated as MSRDC, is a public limited construction company created with a vision of “Transforming Maharashtra’s Transport Landscape”. It is fully owned by the Maharashtra State Government.

History

MSRDC was set up through a resolution dated 9 July 1996 in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. At that time it was a corporation but on 2 August 1996, MSRDC was given the status of a public limited company under the Companies Act, 1956.

• Promoting, planning, operating, investigating, and executing road projects and their development area.
• Promoting the participation of any person, body, or association and inviting tender, bids offers and entering into contracts regarding transport projects.
