What does AHS mean?

AHS is the abbreviation for American Housing Survey, a survey conducted by the US Census Bureau. The survey was founded in 1973 and has been one of the most comprehensive surveys across the States. The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development has been funding the survey since its inauguration.

The survey contains information regarding the composition, size, and characteristics of housing units in the US. It also keeps a look at the changes occurring in the housing stocks. The survey, from 2007, is conducted every odd-numbered year.
