Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is the full name of ABVP. Hindu nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is linked with the right-wing student group Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) (RSS). According to its website, there are almost three million members in the organization. Balraj Madhok, an RSS worker, spearheaded the establishment of the ABVP in 1948.

Its principal goal was to resist communist influence on college and university campuses, which it achieved. Professor Yeshwantrao Kelkar, a lecturer at the University of Bombay, was the primary organizer of the movement in 1958. He transformed the organization into what it is now, and he is widely regarded as “the true architect of the ABVP.”

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has been vocal in its opposition to the commercialization of education on several occasions.
