DMRC is the abbreviation for the term, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. It is a public sector organization responsible for running the Delhi metro. The company is accountable for the services, planning, implementation and maintenance of metro rail services in the Delhi and NCR regions.

These responsibilities are controlled by the various officials of the company. The company was established in March 1995 by the Governments of India and Delhi.

On the 10th anniversary, the metro announced the launch of 8 coaches. The company has received several accords for its service in the transportation industry. Rainwater harvesting is followed at every station and various health programs are also run.
