Post this, the Imax screen was installed in Washington which became a massive success with an audience of nearly 5 million viewers. Through its evolution, Imax presented itself with the evolving technology through 3D. By the early 2000s, Imax extended its brand by including digital projection.

Today, Imax has over 1500 screens in almost 1200 theatres, in 86 institutional places in almost 75 countries. With its tremendous growth over the years, today Imax is valued at $1.12 Billion.
