Rajnikant V/s CID Jokes is India’s leading viral website. They began their trip on Facebook on October 10, 2010. It was decided to start the website with Indian viral and amusing tales.

Initially a Facebook page, it was eventually transformed into a firm. The team’s passion and determination were key to their success.

Journey of RCVJ

It all started around the year 2010. (October 10). The social media was abuzz with the CID program and the Rajnikant-starrer Robot flick. So Shahid Javed, an MBA graduate, created a Facebook group called Rajnikant versus CID Jokes to share jokes and make people laugh. So Shahid used to submit jokes on this page anytime he had free time.

Within a year of launching RVCJ, Shahid had 18000 likes on his page. Incredibly, Shahid spotted a youngster commenting on his postings with his own produced graphics, now called memes.

Ankit Mor was his name. Ankit was then doing an MBA. “Brother, will you make me an admin at RVCJ?” he asked Shahid one day. Say jokes to Shahid, and he will produce graphics. And Shahid made Ankit Admin without a second thought.

Shahid focused on text gags and Ankit on visuals. Therefore the website soared. They both began posting jokes whenever they had time. After a few months, they couldn’t manage the website since Shahid had to work from 10-6 and Ankit was busy preparing for his exams. They didn’t give up and worked tirelessly on the page.

There was no money involved for these gentlemen; they were just there to make people laugh. To the end of 2014, they continued to do it out of pure enthusiasm.
